Pacific Poker are running an awesome promotion to build hype for the WPC $3,000,000 final table to be played in Spain by ten random luckboxes. Pacific are giving away 4 x $17,000 WSOP packages to the winners of special freerolls. To enter into the draw, simply go to www.worldpokercrown.com and pick who you think will win the WPC $1 million title. You will need a Pacific Poker account to register - if you don't have a Pacific account yet, signup to Pacific and you can enter into the prize draw.
The only two final table players that took my fancy were Michael Lawson (meeelosh - who claims Annette15 is his coach) and Pini Roberto (pini78 - because he's the only player on the final table who bought into the 1k tourney directly, and he looks like an intense crazy lag genius). I went with Pini Roberto for my selection.
Once you've selected your WPC winner, you can then play the "Guess Who Will Take It" tournament (2000h GMT May 8). This tournament is restricted to 2000 players, and the winner gets a $17,000 WSOP package. Only players who voted for their pick of the WPC finalists are eligible to enter this tournament. This tournament costs $1 to enter.
If the WPC Finalist you voted for wins, you will be eligible to play a special "Winner is WSOP" freeroll (2000h GMT May 10). Only players who voted for the WPC winner get to play in this freeroll, and the top three players each win a $17,000 WSOP package.
Each WSOP package includes:
- $10,000 buyin to the 2008 WSOP Main Event
- $2,500 for travel
- 10 days accomodation in the new Palazzo tower (Venetian Hotel)
- $2,000 spending money
- Pacific qualifiers Welcome Party where you get to hang out with the awesome Pacific Poker affiliate team, and celebrities like Shane Warne (cricketer of the century), Steve Wong (some donkament guy), and Michael Keiner (some donkament guy - the type that get on all the various freerolls cause they spend more time on marketing themselves than playing and probably couldn't beat 50nl online).
